I took a friend to the Toby Carvery in Redhill for the first time. While we were waiting to be given a table, the first thing we heard was a lady behind the bar angrily shouting at the restaurant staff: "What's the point of me being behind the bar and training you if you don't let me train? I might as well go home." This was very unprofessional and not a little embarrassing for us to hear. My friend was not impressed. However, once seated, the carvery food was great. Special mention to our waitress, Alex, who was lovely: very friendly and chatty. We wish you well, Alex - you'll go far!!
